The QACAC's Grant Opportunities:

How can a school, county organization, association, institution, or other eligible entity apply for an Arts Council grant?

The QACAC contributes financial support to educational and community organizations through two grant types: the AiE (Artists in Education) grant and the CAD (Community Arts Development) grant. Schools are eligible for the AiE grant. Organizations that provide arts programming are supported by the CAD grant. Grant allocations are decided each year in June and awards are given in September. Application deadlines are in May.

The Arts Council’s grant program primarily supports programs taking place in Queen Anne’s County or that demonstrate service to county residents.

In April the Arts Council hosts a grant workshop to assist potential applicants. In previous years, 15-20 grants, in amounts ranging from $200 to $3,000 have been awarded.
