Individual 30 minute sessions are scheduled by calling the Centre for the Arts to specify the time you would like to have your lesson. These are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
These one-on-one, half-hour lessons will advance serious students to their desired singing level with more ease than a group session, and introduce aspiring singers to the techniques needed for strong vocal development. Emphasis will be on correct diaphramatic breathing and support, proper tone production, diction, and on musical interpretation and presentation. Lessons will be individualized according to the age and experience of each student.
Register by 1/9 (I), 2/5 (II), 3/4 (III), 4/8 (IV), or 5/6 (V)
Bonnie Forgacs is a graduate of Converse College and received a Certificate in Opera from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. A performer with many performances to her credit, she has studied voice with Jane Rolandi, Margaret Harshaw, Ellen Rulau and Winifred Cecil. She has been teaching for over 20 years.
