Readers Theatre offers young students the opportunity to read expressively in a group setting. Because memorization is not necessary to performance, students are free to concentrate on projection, enunciation, and other speaking skills. And, because anything from History to Shakespeare and even Fairy Tales can be used as a "script", RT is also a fun way to enrich your child's experience of literature and history. For this session, students will perform on stage, works such as poems, folk tales, excerpts from Shakespeare (in modern English), and short plays about history.
