Most deadlines for registration are one week prior to the start of the class - be sure to check deadline dates for the class(es) in which you are interested. Acceptance is automatic unless notified. The student is responsible for coming to class on the correct day and time without further notice. Missed classes will not be made up or credited. There are no prerequisites for admission unless noted. Some classes may be joined in progress; contact the Arts Council for information on individual classes.
REGISTRATION:
Registration without full and correct payment is not guaranteed. You may register with a VISA OR MasterCard by mail or phone, or in person
Mon. - Fri. from 9-4. There is a $5 non-refundable registration fee for all classes and workshops that is included in tuition cost.
DISCOUNTS:
Current QACAC members are entitled to the discounted price for classes listed as are members of the Writers Center in Bethesda for classes that are co-sponsor. Certain classes offer discounts to groups of 3 or more at the members rate. Check listings for these discounts. Non-members are charged full fees.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
The Arts Council reserves the right to cancel any course; a refund of tuition is guaranteed. Students may drop a course and obtain a refund, less a $5 handling fee, up to 7 days prior to the start of the course. Tuition will not be refunded after the start of the first day of class, unless written notification is received within 72 hours of the first class session, the registration fee is non-refundable. Submitting registration and payment implies acceptance of all policies stated in this brochure. The Arts Council makes every effort to provide thorough and correct information on classes. However, should a publishing error occur, registered students will be notified of the corrected information at the earliest possible opportunity.
