This is a special 2 session class which explores all aspects for the individual artist’s opportunities to increase sales and exposure through effective marketing. Pricing, advertising, public relations, direct mail, will be reviewed and students will prepare an action marketing plan. Strategies and specific methods will be presented to augment their effectiveness in the plan. Sales techniques and closing sales will also be addressed. Extensive handouts will be provided on publishing your work, galleries, legal issues and customer relationships. Beginning and serious artists will benefit from instructor Robert Koenke’s many years of experience in the art and publishing world.
Materials: registered students will receive a survey to complete no later than December 30. Surveys will be reviewed by the instructor in order to tailor the class to the address individual and group needs.

Robert Koenke is the previous publisher and editor of Wildlife Art Magazine. He has taught over 3500 students worldwide at notable institutions such as the Teton School of Art, the Beartooth School of Art and Susan K. Blank Foundation workshops. He has published over 24,000 pages of art, co-published four books and produced several videos on art appreciation, marketing and museums.
