Patricia Gerhardt learned to knit at the age of 9 and immediately began knitting self-designed sweaters for her dolls. Trish insists that these first garments ‘weren’t much’ they marked the beginning of a lifelong love affair with fiber arts. In addition to hand knitting, she is past president of the local rug hooking guild and a founding member of Centreville’s Wild Wooly Women knitting group.
